With the new year comes great news for all railfans and photography enthusiasts! BUDAMAR LOGISTICS has once again decided to organize a popular photo contest, which will give those interested a unique chance to capture their best shots of trains led by the unique BUDAMAR locomotives.
What can you look forward to? This time, too, there are exclusive prizes to delight every railway fan - from collectibles in the form of models or a unique Lego kit with a BUDAMAR Vectron to promotional items prepared by the company. In addition, each participant will have the opportunity to test their skills in capturing the dynamics and elegance of the latest trains.
How does it work? In order to give all competitors an equal opportunity, BUDAMAR LOGISTICS will allow the location of its Siemens Vectron locomotives to be tracked on a live map via GPS. This way you can plan your hunt for the perfect photo and capture our locomotives in their full glory.
When can you get involved? The competition runs until the end of June, giving you plenty of time to get the best shots. And good news - you can enter the competition if you've taken photos in the past, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
How to participate? It's easy! Just send your photos to the email address event@budamar.sk according to the terms and conditions stated in the rules.

2. THE DATE OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will take place between 7.1.2025 and 30.6.2025. It is possible to enter the competition within this period.
3. SUBJECT OF THE COMPETITION
The subject of the competition is to send own photo in digital form and in original resolution (not reduced images) in jpg format to the email address event@budamar.sk. The photo must include a train driven by the competition organiser's locomotive with BUDAMAR logos visible. Photos with locomotives of other operators will not be included in the competition. The date and location of the photographs are not limited. The photograph must not include any watermark. In order to be included in the competition, it is a condition that each applicant must include his/her name, surname and a description of the photo (place and date when the photo was taken) in the email.
The photographs taken by the contestants will be used for promotional and advertising purposes of BUDAMAR LOGISTICS, a.s. and by sending the photographs, the author of the photograph gives BUDAMAR LOGISTICS, a.s. the rights to use the photograph for these purposes.
The author of the photograph also bears full responsibility for the content of the submitted photograph.
Each contestant may participate in the competition with any number of photographs.
Each contestant can receive only one prize in the competition.
4. COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS
Participants are contestants who have sent their own photo to the above email address and it is in accordance with the contest rules (hereinafter referred to as "Contestants").
Contestants who do not comply with the terms and conditions of the Contest and those who act in violation of the Contest Rules and in breach of good manners will be disqualified from the Contest. If the winner is subsequently found to have won and acted in breach of good manners or in breach of the rules of the competition, he/she will not be entitled to the prize (hereinafter referred to as the "Winner").
5. JURY
The winners of the competition are chosen by a jury vote.
The composition of the jury consists of five members - members of the Board of Directors of BUDAMAR LOGISTICS, a.s. and members of the marketing team.
The decision of the jury will be unchangeable and cannot be appealed.
6. ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNERS AND NOTIFICATION OF THE PRIZE
The winners will be announced by 31.7.2025 on the website www.budamar.sk, Facebook profile, Instagram profile and LinkedIn profile.
The winner will be contacted directly via email. If the winner does not respond to the prize notification within 14 days and does not express an interest in claiming the prize, he/she will forfeit his/her claim to the prize. Another winner will be selected by jury vote instead.
The winner and the Organiser will agree on the method of delivery of the prize. If no mutual agreement is reached, the prize will be sent to the winner by post at the Organiser's expense.
The Organiser reserves the right to publish the name and surname of the winner on the website www.budamar.sk, Facebook profile, Instagram profile and LinkedIn profile.
7. PRIZES

2nd place: Exclusive electric model of Siemens Vectron locomotive BUDAMAR GROUP, promotional items of BUDAMAR LOGISTICS
3rd place: Exclusive BUDAMAR freight wagon model, promotional items of BUDAMAR LOGISTICS
8. CHANGE OF COMPETITION CONDITIONS
The organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the competition, postpone, shorten, suspend or cancel the competition at any time.
9. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The administrator of the personal data processed in this competition is BUDAMAR LOGISTICS, a.s. with registered office at Horárska 12, 821 09 Bratislava, ID No.: 35 736 046.
By participating in the competition, the contestant acknowledges the processing of the personal data provided in the following scope: name, surname and email address (hereinafter referred to as "personal data").
10. FINAL CLAUSE
Prizes cannot be claimed in court and are not legally enforceable.
The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of a similar type and of the same value.
By entering the competition, each entrant agrees and declares that Facebook has no obligation to them and the competition organiser declares that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or controlled by, and is in no way connected with, Facebook.
