TREND magazine will award the Company of the Year for the 27th time in a row. In this year's edition, our subsidiary LOKORAIL was also nominated in the Company of the Year category. TREND TOP is a renowned event at which annual awards are given for the best business results of the year. These are awarded in a total of eight categories.
The carrier LOKORAIL is engaged in the provision of transport services on national railways in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and the operation of railway sidings and transport on them. These days mark the 20th anniversary of the company. The year 2023 was the most successful year in terms of results for LOKORAIL in its twenty-year history. With a turnover of more than 35 million, the company made a net profit of almost half a million euros. LOKORAIL is continuing the trend set this year, despite a significant decline in the volume of traffic on the European rail market. Thanks to a healthy traffic structure, close cooperation with customers and internal measures, the company expects the same results as in 2023. These results also confirm why LOKORAIL has been nominated for this prestigious award.
The announcement of the results will take place on 19 November at the Slovak National Theatre. The winners will also be decided by the public and the readers of TREND magazine. In addition to them, the winners will also be decided by the TREND editorial team, the partner of each category, as well as by the personalities of Slovak business in the TREND barometer. Each voting entity will have a quarter of the votes.
